Finally the Mac OS X users can get an open source program that allow file compression in other formats than zip (native on Mac OS X).

Keka can archive files in 7z, Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2.

And can unarchive the following formats: RAR, 7z, Lzma, Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, ISO, EXE, CAB, PAX, ACE (PPC).

To archive some files all you have to do is drag the files in the keka’s icon on the Dock.

To unarchive is although very simple just open the package and keka will unarchive it for you.
